This week-long residential program for rising 9th through 12th grade students is designed to be an active outdoors, hands-on program. Students will participate in a variety of activities as they learn about Alabama’s marine environment, animals and plants. A "must" for students who love being active and outside in the marine environment. BayVoyager is designed to be an active outdoors, hands-on program for students currently in grades 8-11 (or rising 9-12 for Fall 2018). Campers take a trip aboard the Sea Lab's research vessel, kayak local waters, seine along the beaches, learn about Alabama's marine plants, animals and coastal habitats, and so much more.

Program Cost: The cost of this program is $600 and includes tuition, room, meals, and lab fees. The $50 registration fee and will be applied toward the program cost. The next payment of $100 should be returned with the camp release forms. A balance of $450 will be due at check in. $100 tuition payment may be returned if notice of withdrawal is communicated to the DHP Registrar (in writing) at least seven days prior to the first day of class.

Student handbooks will be e-mailed to parents after May 1, 2018.  ALL forms located in the student handbook (5 total) should be mailed in with your $100 tuition payment.

Application Deadline Date: Space is limited. Please return this form, with a $50 non-refundable registration fee, to hold your child’s space in this program. All checks should be made payable to Dauphin Island Sea Lab.

NOTE:  The Dauphin Island Sea Lab reserves the right to cancel the program in the event enrollment is inadequate. Noncompliance with the rules of the program results in expulsion and forfeiture of program cost.
